The Republic Parking Multi-Level Parking Facility Project was awarded to J. Levens Builders, Inc. (JLB) on July 29, 2005 for the contract amount of $12 Million dollars. The purpose of this project was to design and build a multi-level parking facility at the Gulfport/Biloxi International Airport. This project was completed November 2008

Corporex Development/ Marriot Residence Inn/ Hilton Garden Inn MW Builders, Inc project was awarded to JLB on March 2007, for the contract amount of $2 Million dollars. The main goal of this project was to build and perform all civil and site work on the Hotels property. This project was completed June 2008.

This project mainly focuses on a state of the art auction facility to host cattle auctions for the American Angus Association. The facility included an auction ring, commercial kitchen, seating capabilities for over 300 people. Also available for use for: weddings, community events, and field days for local colleges and schools. This projects completion date was 2007.

Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport Terminal Drainage Improvements
Purpose Facility

J. Levens Builders, Inc was awarded the project of installed over 3500 linear feet of concrete pipe, excavated and hauled off over 40,000 cubic yards of dirt, and installed a subsurface storm water detention system. This system serves as an underground retention pond to hold and consolidate drainage from storm water runoff. Due to this system being underground, this allows for parking above the underground structure. This project was completed in 2007

Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport Car Rental Service and Maintenance Facility

J. Levens Builders, Inc was awarded to build a 7 acre storage and maintenance facility for various rental car vendors. This project includes clearing and grubbing over 7 acres installing parking lots, a car wash facility, underground fuel storage, an oil-change facility, security fencing, access roads, and high wattage lighting. This project was located directly across from the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport and was completion in 2007

This project entailed expanding parking lots and drainage in a total of 6 acres worth of land. This project was completed in 2007

Bulls Restaurant, Long Beach, MS

Bulls Restaurant is contracted by J. Levens Builders, Inc. It is a design/build seafood restaurant in Long Beach, MS. Bulls Restaurant will have a fully equipped commercial kitchen, dinning space for over one hundred guests, an outside patio, a dine-in bar area, and a waiting room. Bulls restaurant is expected to be complete by December 2010.

Jeff Davis Avenue Roadway Improvements Project City of Long Beach, MS

MDOT I-59 Welcome Center STP/IM-0059-01(106)

The Jeff Davis Avenue Roadway Improvements Project was awarded to J. Levens Builders, Inc. (JLB) on December 1, 2008, for the contract amount of $5.6 Million dollars. The purpose of this project is to remove and replace roads, sidewalks, curb & gutter, sanitary sewer, storm drain & water line. Other tasks involve installing new concrete drive, new landscaping, sod, and street lighting. This project is estimated to be completed by the summer of 2010.

The MDOT I-59 Welcome Center was awarded to JLB on November 11, 2009 for $911,000. This project is revitalizing and improving upon the existing Welcome Center. JLB will be installing new storm drain, sewer, curb & gutter, and sidewalk; as well as constructing a new lift station and picnic shelter. JLB is responsible for the landscaping of the grounds, which includes sod and seeding, and all electrical and street lighting. JLB is expecting to complete this project September 2010

Biloxi Walmart Store #1088-55; Biloxi, MS

J. Levens Builders, Inc. was subcontracted by Clark Construction, Inc. of McComb, MS to provide all site work for the construction of the new Walmart Supercenter in Biloxi, MS.  This project was started in July of 2011 and completed in April of 2012.  J. Levens Builders, Inc. scope of work consisted of hauling in large amounts of dirt to raise the store to the proper elevations.  The scope of work also included removing over 300,000 square feet of concrete slabs to crush, recycle, and re-use on site.  The project also included installing all water mains, sewer mains, storm drains, and erosion control devices.  Another responsibility of the project was to provide a new access road to the store from Highway 90 and meet the requirements of Mississippi Department of Transportation.

Levee Clay Delivery, New Orleans, LA
Hurricane Katrina Infrastructure Repairs Project Area Six

In December 2010 J. Levens Builders, Inc (JLB) was awarded a 1 million ton purchase order for the delivery of clay to the New Orleans Levee LPV 109.  This project requires a tremendous amount of communication and scheduling with our customer, their supplier and our trucking subcontractors. We are required to provide more than 100 trucks to fulfill the purchase order requirements by summer 2011.

The Hurricane Katrina Infrastructure Repairs Project Area Six was awarded to JLB on October 7, 2009, for the contract amount of $3.2 Million dollars. Main goals of this project are to remove and replace sanitary sewer, storm drain, water line, asphalt, and curb & gutter. JLB is also installing sidewalk and two inch asphalt overlay on the road. This project is expected to be completed November 2010

Longfellow Drive Roadway Improvements, Bay St. Louis, MS

The Longfellow Drive Roadway Improvements project was awarded to JLB on April 21, 2010, for $2.6 Million dollars. This project focuses on widening 1.3 miles of Longfellow Drive, curb and gutter installation, subsurface drainage, water/ sewer lines, and other incidental work. The expected completion date of this project is June of 2011.

Washington Street Improvements, City of Bay St. Louis, MS

The Washington Street Improvements project was awarded to JLB on April 22, 2010, for the contract amount of $2.4 Million dollars. The main goals of this project are to reconstruct .91 miles of roadway with storm drainage, with add alternates of sidewalk and pedestrian lighting. JLB is also doing driveway reconstruction and utility adjustment. This project is expected to be completed May of 2011.
